Welcome to DTU Football

DTU Football is the official football club of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), offering students and affiliates opportunities for both competitive and recreational football in a vibrant social environment.

As of 2025, DTU Football has entered into a collaboration with Lyngby Boldklub (LBK), combining facilities and talent. To learn more about this partnership, visit the LBK collaboration page.

Teams

We currently have three teams participating in the Danish Football Associations (DBU) tournaments:

Men's teams

1st team (11-a-side) DBU Men's Senior Series 3
2nd team (11-a-side) DBU Men's Senior Series 6

Women's team

1st team (11-a-side) DBU Women's Senior Series 1

Membership fee

To attend practices and games you have to pay the membership fee.

Fee: 900 DKK per semester.
Covers: Kits for games, practice, coach salary & equipment
Doesn't cover: Cleats and shin guards.

Practice

Men's teams

Practice takes place at Lyngby Boldklub’s training grounds. From April to Septe, sessions are held on natural grass; outside this period, training is on artificial grass. The location is shown on the map below.
The teams practice:
Tuesday and Thursday 18:30-20:00
(Times may vary by up to an hour during the fall, but the days wont change)

Women's team

Practice is held year-round on artificial grass at Lyngby Boldklub’s training grounds. The location is shown on the map below.

(Times may vary by up to an hour during the fall, but the days wont change)

Free practices

Everyone is eligible for a free two-week trial period. To sign up, contact Mads B. Carlson from LBK’s administrative staff:

Mads will contact the relevant coach to coordinate your trial. After the two weeks, the coach and player will decide which team is the best fit. To continue, the player must complete the sign-up form and pay the membership fee.
