Dear member,
Welcome to the official website of DTU football club. The fee for joining the club to be 350 kr per semester.
The format for practice is usually warmup exercises followed by technical training and finishing off with game formats ranging from 5v5 to 11v11 depending on the number of people at practice.
The outdoor pitch is formally closed until the start of April. This is also when will we start practices.
Where to find the club
We have a full size 11-a-side outdoor pitch on the DTU Lyngby campus at building 230. By the pitch members may use the changing rooms for both girls and boys with bath- and toilet facilities.
Tryouts
Anyone may have one free practice to see if they would like to join the club. To help the coaches plan the best practice sessions you should write to either the Facebook administrators, Jakob K. Hansen or Viktor T. Hertz and ask if there's room on the day you would like to join. The link to the Facebook page can be found at the top of the page.
Teams
If there's no room on a specific team the member may be on a waiting list until more room presents itself.
1st Team
This team has a maximum capacity of 26 members.
Practice: Tuesday 17:30 - 19:15
Games: 1 game per week
Game format: 11v11
Game time & location: Homegames at DTU, away games vary around Copenhagen. Weekend 10:00 - 16:00
The 1st Team is our most competitive squad and competes in the DBU league. Consequently, this team participates in a match every weekend against another team within our division, typically with pitches located in or around Copenhagen.
The 1st and 2nd are evaluated every month or so to determine if any players should drop to the 2nd or rise to the 1st team.
This team practice once a week on Tuesdays 17:30 - 19:15 on the pitch at building 230.
2nd Team
This team has a maximum capacity of 34 members.
Practice: Thursday 17:30 - 19:15
Games: 1 game per week
Game format: 8v8
Game time & location: Ryparken, Valby idrætspark & Kløvermarken. Weekday >18:00, weekend 10:00 - 16:00
This team primarily fosters less competitive members who just enjoys the practice and weekly exercise. This team has scheduled games on external pitches in Copenhagen where the team participates in 8v8 tournament through DAI. The games can take place on the following pitches: Ryparken, Valby idrætspark & Kløvermarken. The games generally takes place on the weekends.
This team practice once a week on Thursdays 17:30 - 19:15 on the pitch at building 230.
Women's Team
This team has a maximum capacity of 20 members
Practice: Tuesday 17:30 - 19:15
Games: 1 game per week
Game format: 8v8
Game time & location: Homegames at DTU, away games vary around Copenhagen. Weekday >18:00, weekend 11:00 - 14:00
This newly established team may initially have a lower number of participants at the start of the season, but we anticipate this changing as the team gains momentum. This team also participates in the DBU league and have one game every week.
This team is designed for members who may be less competitively inclined and simply enjoy the exercise and weekly practice sessions.
This team practice once a week on Tuesdays 17:30 - 19:15 on the pitch at building 230. (THIS MIGHT CHANGE )
